We are a small but growing computer point of sale business based in Brisbane specialising in the salon (hair & beauty) industry looking for someone to represent us in other major capital cities. We have a strong base in Queensland and are ready to move into other states. [Interested parties in larger regional centres are also encouraged to make contact.]
The ideal person will need to be confident in finding their way around a PC and be willing to learn the specifics of our programme. You don’t need to be a computer wizard, just confident.
This programme is at the lower end of the price scale and represents really good value for money and has significant competitive advantages.
It also represents an opportunity for you to generate ongoing after sales income from service agreements.
You would need to make an investment in a laptop, receipt printer and barcode scanner for the purpose of doing in salon presentations to prospective clients.
You will do the installation of the system into the salon, the training and be the first point of contact for customer help, backed up by our Brisbane based help desk facility.
We will assist with advice and introductions to industry people who would be useful contacts but this is your business and you will need to be active in creating enquiries and finding your own ways of generating sales. You don’t need any particular salon industry specific background or knowledge.
This may be the ideal opportunity for a mature aged person who is finding it a challenge to get back into the workforce. It certainly requires a strong focus on customer service to ensure that our users are able to get the most from the system and receive support when they need it.
As well as the investment in hardware mentioned previously, there is an upfront cost to secure a sales area and cover initial and ongoing training. A percentage of this is redeemable after the first 5 sales are made. There is no ongoing cost to you once you are established. This is an agency not a franchise. You will be paid a substantial commission per sale.
The software is written in Brisbane and continues to develop in response to changing customer needs.
